Rose Galvin is the owner of Body Science Personal Training. She has been in the Fitness Industry for over 20 years. Growing up in Ireland she loved being outdoors and playing various sports. Rose began her fitness career in Sydney Australia teaching group classes and pursuing her education as a personal trainer. She has continuously worked as a fitness educator & mentor to hundreds of people over the years, always expanding her education and skills always seeking to further her knowledge of new developments in the fitness industry in order to provide her clients with the best program possible. Rose has worked for some of the finest clubs on the South Shore and her success as a trainer led her to open her own studio in 2012. One of Rose's many credentials is "Cancer Exercise Specialist", one of only a few in the area. Rose believes that you can be healthy at every size and the importance of participating in an exercise program to make your body healthy from the inside out. She strives to educate her clients on the importance of exercise beyond weight loss goals and to help them prioritize a healthy approach to body weight beyond a number on the scale.
Rose meets with every client prior to their first session and oversees all programs. She is always available to address clients concerns. Rose takes a genuine interest in every client, their goals and well being. The hiring process at Body Science Personal Training is exceptionally rigorous. Rose takes building her team very seriously, carefully selecting candidates who have not only the best qualifications but also possess exceptional people skills to make our clients feel comfortable and confident.
CREDENTIALS:
Laurie is an outstanding Personal Trainer, Yoga Instructor and Assisted Stretch Coach. She earned a degree in exercise science and has been a certified personal trainer and yoga instructor for many many years. She is motivating, professional, kind and extremely dedicated to her clients! Laurie is easily one of the most popular trainers on the South Shore and has an amazing ability to relate to clients of all ages. Whatever your goals are, we are confident you will get the attention you deserve from Laurie.
CREDENTIALS:
Blair is highly qualified with a degree in Exercise Science and a minor in nutrition. He is not only a Certified Personal Trainer but also a NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist, NASM Assisted Stretch Coach and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.
Blair is a super motivating trainer and coach who is always smiling and having fun with his clients. You are guaranteed to have fun and maybe even do a little dancing with Blair.
Nick, our studio manager became a certified personal trainer with the National Academy of Sports Medicine in 2017. His philosophy revolves around helping his clients build a healthy lifestyle with commitment to exercise and nutrition. His attention to delivering the best personal training is evident in the results of his clients. He always has a smile on his face and is possibly one of most pleasant people you will ever meet.

CREDENTIALS
Tracy is a movement enthusiast, educator and certified in the classical Pilates method. Tracy has over 25 years experience teaching pilates and owned her own studio for 15 years. She has a B.S. in Exercise Science and is also a Licenced Physical Therapist Assistant. Additionally she is an adjunct professor at Quincy College in the exercise science program. Tracy enjoys working with clients and tailoring a safe and custom experience to each individual to achieve their goals, making them more efficient movers both in and out of the studio. One session with Tracy and you will be hooked! Her instruction methods are engaging and meticulous. Tracys attention to form correction and execution is exceptional.
Kim joined her first gym when she was 13 and hasn’t stopped going since. She’s passionate about the way moving and strength training makes her feel mentally and physically, in and out of the gym. In 2017 she left her corporate job to pursue fitness full time. She immediately started working in a boutique studio training individuals and small groups in Baltimore until she moved back to Boston in 2019. Her client base ranges from beginners of all ages, pre/post-natal fitness, and advanced athletes. She loves using strength training to help her clients move and feel better in their daily lives!
Kim is also our Corporate Consultant- work with her to offer virtual personal training and group classes to your employees!

Ashley earned her Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science. In doing so, she was trained to work with a broad range of age and fitness backgrounds. She is currently a third year medical student at UMass Medical School. She loves running and making upbeat playlists for a high intensity workout! She is a fun trainer that clients simply look forward to training with.

Jacob holds a degree in exercise science and is certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine. He is currently studying to become an assistant physical therapist and is extremely eager to help his clients reach their goals and improve their health and well being. As well as excellent motivational and instruction skills, Jacob has an exceptional ability to connect with his clients to make them feel comfortable and confident.
